We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we (do and don’t) collect when you use our website and the Social Blade Scraper Chrome extension.

1) What the Extension does

The Extension lets you scrape publicly visible statistics from socialblade.com pages you visit and export them to CSV. It does not require a Social Media login and does not automate actions on social media platforms.

2) Data the Extension processes

  • Public page data: The Extension reads only the content of Social Blade pages after you initiate a scrape.
  • Saved lists (Pro/Menace tiers): If you save lists, those names and usernames are stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.
  • License info: If you activate a paid tier, your license key and tier are stored locally and validated with Gumroad.
  • Usage stats (optional/local only): We may store simple counts (e.g., “total scrapes”, “accounts scraped”) locally for your own view.
  • CSV files: Generated and downloaded locally to your device.

We do not collect or receive your saved lists, usage stats, or CSV contents on our servers.

3) What we do not collect

  • No social media credentials or private messages
  • No keystroke logging
  • No personal identifiers from the pages you view beyond the public stats you choose to export
  • No background tracking or data exfiltration

4) Extension permissions (why we need them)

  • activeTab — Read the current Social Blade page only after you click to start a scrape.
  • storage — Store your settings, saved lists, license status locally.
  • downloads — Save the CSV you request.
  • Host access: https://socialblade.com/* — Needed to read the page you’re scraping.
  • (Optional) notifications — If enabled, we may show a single completion notice for long scrapes.

We request the minimum access required to provide the features you use.

5) Website data (k-crush.com / getclickworthy.com)

  • Analytics/Cookies: [Describe if you use Google Analytics/other, or say “No analytics cookies are used.”]
  • Contact forms: If you contact us, we process the information you submit to reply.
  • Payments: Paid tiers are processed by Gumroad. We do not store your full payment details.
  • Tips: “Buy Me a Coffee” (https://buymeacoffee.com/robinblake) handles tips; their privacy policy applies there.

6) Third parties we rely on

  • Gumroad (payments/licensing) — We validate license keys through Gumroad’s API.
  • Chrome Web Store — Distribution and updates.
  • Buy Me a Coffee — Optional tipping.
    Each third party processes data under its own privacy policy.

7) International transfers & legal bases

We operate from the United Kingdom. Where applicable (UK GDPR / EU GDPR), our legal bases include performance of a contract (providing the Extension you requested) and legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, product operation).

8) Your rights (UK/EU)

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. Because the Extension stores most data locally, you can also delete it any time by clearing the Extension’s storage or removing the Extension.

9) Data retention

  • Extension local data: Stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Extension.
  • Support emails / purchase records: Retained as required for legal/accounting purposes.

10) Children

Our website and Extension are not directed to children under 13. Do not use them if you are under the applicable age of consent.

11) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method is 100% secure, but we minimize the data we handle (most stays on your device).

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We’ll post the latest version at k-crush.com/privacy with an updated effective date.
